A solid scooter that I'd buy again.

Great for getting around in the city when traffic is heavy. No worries about parking and often is MUCH faster than driving a car in traffic and then trying to find parking... - Often I can take it inside a small storefront (CVS, ATM, take-out, McD's, etc.), pick up my stuff, and leave without the need to lock it. - The 10" tires are a little harsh but more than make up for the trouble with tubes or tubeless tires... My neighbor has a scooter with a tube - what a pain... Regen braking is great!! There are two brakes, regen, and disk. I've used the disk brakes maybe 6 times in almost 2 months... - I recharge mine about 2x a week. Takes 3-4 hours. One time I ran out as I was pulling into the driveway :) - The Hiboy app is really nice and well thought out. Great engineering guys!! - It will go 19 mph on flat or slightly inclined (I weigh 175 lbs). - I love the portable design. I can simply fold it, put in the back of my SUV and take it to a friend's place. - A backpack is a must for shopping with one of these.

good for college commuting

I've been using mine for the last 8 weeks on a daily basis for getting around a college campus. I probably ride it 2-3 miles a day. I love it. It rides sidewalks and bumpy pathways just fine. Breaks work great. It takes on big hills no problem. I weight about 150lbs and it usually maxes out at 18mph on a straight flat sidewalk. No major issues or wear so far.
