Great Chipper Shredder
This chipper shredder replaces my 27 year old Simplicity 8 HP chipper shredder. The 6.5 HP motor on this model runs smooth and has plenty of power for my quarter acre yard. I use it for mostly leaves in the fall, but also chip small branches that come down with passing storms. What I like about this unit is its power, size, and rugged construction. Two things I would like to see improved are easier access to the oil fill port and a kit to add a leaf vacuum hose attachment. However, this was obviously not a deal breaker for me.

Sturdy and easy to use
I have now had about five hours of runtime on this machine. Sturdy and gets the job done. Started up first time and I've never had an issue getting it started again. The only issue I had was the rubber safety shield that protected the shoot. It failed around the third hour. Not necessary for the machine to run. Well, just now I need to pay more attention to how I feed it. hence the four out of five stars. Otherwise exceptional machine.

Works well
I've had this for about a month now. It works well, and handles everything I've thrown at it so far. The only issues I've had are that the wheels are a bit narrow, so the machine wants to tip over when towed, and I wish it was about a foot taller so I could just chip straight into my lawn trailer.
