The Shield: The Complete Series (Blu-ray)

This show was released in what I'd like to say were the glory days of television when you'd see seasons of shows lasting 20 episodes, not the scrawny 6-10 episodes these days. My father asked me if walmart sells this TVshow and I sure enough did find it. He wanted the DVD version of the show. The price tag at the time was around 70 dollars. A wee bit higher than the DVD price. So of course I want him to enjoy the higher quality picture. When we finally received it, we were very surprised. The case is beautifully crafted, and it opens like a book, it is hard I admit to figure out at first. But once you do. It's so wonderful. As I said, it opens like a book. So each page is a very pleasing 1 Blu-ray disc in a nice CD holding slit with pictures of the show and vice versa. You can easily find what you are looking for without issues. No bunched-up discs in 1 long CD holder here! (Like other shows such as Walking dead/Burn notice, etc.) I have never seen the show, but it really makes me want to watch it now! So, what are you waiting for? Buy yours and see for yourself!

The Shield is a great show. I believe it started it all for FX and high quality tv shows. It's raw, gritty and intense.
