The Accumulair Diamond is one of the highest efficiency filters on the market. With a MERV 13 filter rating, this high efficiency filter removes particulates measuring from 0.3 microns to 1.0 microns. It effectively removes indoor air pollutants such as dust mites, particles, mold spores, pet dander, pollen, tobacco smoke, some viruses, and all bacteria. Using electrostatic filtration, this filter attracts particles with its special synthetic filter media. With a dust spot efficiency of 89-90%, the Accumulair Diamond is over 30 times more efficient than regular fiberglass filters and almost equivalent to a true HEPA filter.

To increase durability, the pleated media is laminated to a recyclable, galvanized, and corrosion resistant metal backing. The pleated media is then bonded to a two-piece die cut frame made of a heavy duty, moisture resistant, clay coated board with diagonal and horizontal grid supports.
