New Cat Condos 4 Level Cat Lounger

I purchased this cat condo because it looked just like the one I had purchased in 2018. I figured it would be sturdy for my 18%23 cat, but as I was assembling it I noticed that the wood under the carpet was about 1/2 inch vs 3/4 inch, the diameter of the poles are 2 1/4 inches, the wood under the carpet on the poles is 6/8 inch, there are many areas on the entire condo that have obvious "lines of staples" in the thin carpet, the areas where the poles screw into the wood platform area look like they were chisled out rather than done on using a professional cutting device. As I screwed each post into the platform, little pieces of wood "spit" out from the screw hole. (The screw on the posts did not line up with the screw holes because of the off-set placement of the screw holes). The 3 screws holding the wood in place are drilled in at a approximately 45 degree angles and not flush with the wood they were drilled into. Overall very poor workmanship. This item would never survive 7 years like the old one.
