a great overall fantasy tale for any avid reader.

it is a great overall story with very interesting characters, some you may recognize, like snow white and the seven dwarfs told in a slightly different way. it is also very well written giving you more of a visual of whats going on, making it feel very organic. if you liked the lord of the rings books I believe you will like this also. but there is quite a bit of mature content and would not recommend it for young readers (definitely 18 years or older).

For the Fans of the Witcher

After playing Witcher 2&3 I found out it was based on a book series. I naturally had to get them. The book has a slice of life feel to it. We see bits and pieces of the Witcher Geralt's life. Literally bits and pieces, sorta feels like journal entries in a way. The part that gives the book its title, well that's a small arc inside of the main book. I found that off putting as that's not the style I'm used to. I did eventually get over my misgivings and did enjoy the books. Just make sure you read them in order. I was told the wrong order and boy was I lost.
