Answer to prayer !
This formula is literally an answer to our prayers for help. Our girl has had silent reflux, and milk tolerance problems since birth. First we tried similac AR. It worked well for about 2 weeks. Then her Pedi put her on similac alimentum. That only worked for a few weeks, then all her symptoms came back. Terrible painful gas, lots of spit up, screaming after every feeding. After much prayer we drove to Walgreens and bought this. It was like a night a day change. This formula is lactose broken down. Similac and Emfamil versions are casein based. We but it in 6 packs from Walmart. Com . For the first month DONT be surprised by green stinky number 2. After about 4 weeks it will get better! Give this a try before giving up and going to the prescription protein amino formulas.
Amazing
My son was born prematurely at 35 weeks he is now 10 months. From the day he was born until about 3 months ago he was out on 8 different formulas. After months of trial and error I heard about Gerber Extensive HA and I said to myself “well what the heck might as well give it a try” from the moment he had his first bottle of HA his mood changed completely. No more crying in pain, no more irritability, he was his normal self. I definitely recommend this formula 100% to any babies that have a milk allergy like him.
Happy baby all over again
My son wasn't receiving enough milk and we tried to supplement with similac for few weeks after leaving the hospital. I noticed his tummy would be hard and he was so fussy. One month using similar he broke out in rash all over his face and had wheezing, constipation and gas. Poor little guy was miserable and he was solely consumir formula by this time. His pediatrician recommended enfamil nutrimigen or Similac Alimentum and none resolved any of his symptoms. Finally did my own research and my baby needed a whey based formula (easy for digestion) vs Casin which is in similac and enfamil and like cottage cheese in my baby's belly. My research lead me to Gerber Good Start extensive HA. Within 2days my baby was pooping regularly and no more hard tummy. He slept better/longer and his wheezing resolved immediately. The rash completely resolved by one month of use. It's likely that my baby has a milk allergy/lactose and I was pleased to find this product. Thank you Geber for making this product that is an All in One solution and source of nutrition for my baby. He's 3 months and thriving and we are so happy with this product.
