Coffeemaker

I love having the option of turning off the bean grinder if I so desire. However, most of the time I do use beans, because you just can not beat the taste off fresh ground coffee. Yes, grinding beans makes noise but its worth the flavor. This coffee maker does require rinsing the bean grinder after every use (all do) in order to prevent build up of the oils contained in the beans. I found this model to be very easy to clean and love being able to program it to have coffee beans ground, and coffee already brewed when I get up in the morning. The ability to program the warming plate to turn off when I want is also a nice feature. I have been using this model every day (sometimes twice) for about 3-4 weeks. I bought this coffee maker after my Bunn died. I can honestly say, I prefer this one!

Fresh ground coffee in the morning...mmmmm!

I had the older Cuisinart model and love fresh ground coffee...its a big difference over pre-ground coffee! This is a nice-looking unit; easier to clean than previous model. Only used a couple times but it seems to work well and is quieter than previous model as well. It's great to set up the pot the night before and wake up to fresh ground coffee ready to drink.

Nice Way to Wake Up in the Morning

Wonderful machine. To address basic concerns one might have: 1. the grinder is not overly noisy as grinders go. It's certainly a lot quieter than the Mr. Coffee Grinder that I had been using manually. 2. easy to assemble and disassemble and parts that get dirty are dishwasher safe. 3. the coffee is wonderfully hot I wish for only two improvements. That they backlight the clock and programming screens. Very difficult to read at night. Finally, I would really like to see a "slow brew" mode that makes a deeper flavored cup of coffee. I'm used to my DeLonghi in that way but this is not a game changer. This machine does a really nice job of waking you up with a very good cup of coffee. 5stars!
