Wide Brim Fedora Hat

Hat arrived folded in a 9inchx9inch plastic US mail mailing package. Had to put weights on the brim to try to shape it. Description says "Made of high quality woolen material", but the tag in the hat says 65% cotton 35% polyester. I didn't know wool was 65% cotton 35% polyester! What kind of lamb produce that kind of wool??? I wonder if it will hold up in the rain since the description says it is a spring, fall, winter hat and it rains in the spring, fall, and winter.
