Athlon Optics 212008 Ares BTR 4.5-27x50 APLR3 IR MOA Riflescope

I can't thank you guys enough for offering this product. Ordering was a snap and was quite surprised at the shipping duration being less than a week from order to tie of delivery. This is not my first Athlon as I already have a Midas Tac but this is the next model up from the Tac. I would easily compare this scope with any of the top of the lines out there as far as clarity, function and craftsmanship at 1/2 if not 1/3 of the price.

First impression of their scope was fantastic! It was packaged secure and the presentation was good. After removing the scope from the box the construction felt solid and the glass was very clear through tall zoom levels. I then preformed a function test of turrets, parallax, and eye relief. All were smooth and not overly difficult to adjust and eye relief was on par with advertised. Wind age and elevation has audible clicks. Some reviews mentioned adjustments being mushy but the scope I received was minimal. The only issue to me is that the parallax and reticle illumination sticks out fairly far but that's only my opinion and might be a welcomed feature for shooters in cold weather using gloves. Tracking and field use will be tested this weekend.
