“Pretty, prettyyyyy, pretttyyy good”

Wow. I had no idea Athlon scopes were this nice. Glass is good (standard milkiness at 27x, but good at 20x, my sweet spot). Pretty solid all around. Will be pairing it with a CZ 557 sporter. Since CZ is imported by CZ USA in Kansas City, KS, I figured I'd match it with a scope imported by Athlon from Olathe, KS. Rock chalk baby! Also: Very audible turrets. Be careful, you might scare ol mossyback away. Shipping was efficient; recommend seller. Order it and then reward yourself with some Chicken Mary's…

First Athlon Optic

This was my first Athlon Optic purchased. I have purchased other High end optic brands and the Athlon glass is right up there with them with a competitive price. I have about 500 rounds through my 308 win LR hunting rig and have not have any issues. I would and have recommended to friends and family.

Amazing Quality Optics at a Reasonable Price

The Ares BTR is an incredible optic at it's price point. I am impressed with the optical quality and features of this product normally only found on optics costing 2x as much. Comparing side by side, the quality of the Ares BTR glass is superior to the Vortex Viper series in the same magnification range. I wish I had a Razor available to compare with, as I am confident the BTR would be similar to the optical quality of the Vortex Razor series. Initially I was not a fan of the floating dot reticle, as I thought that I much preferred a "+" in the center of my sight. After a half day at the range, I can say that I have changed my mind, and now would take the floating dot type reticle on all of my rifles. At high magnification, it allows the shooter to take aim at a precise point, and not have the reticle interfere with the view of the target. I plan to purchase more Athlon Optics in the future.
