difficulty with zipper

Perfect size (I got a Small), but the zipper was difficult to use. The first time I tried it on, the zipper handle entirely came off. I managed to put it back on, but there was excess zipper that looked sloppy at the bottom. The material of the dress is a bit itchy as well.
