This is a great basketball for atleast home. I know nothing about regulations forr a actual game. I have seen mixed reviews on this. Ours came aired up. We have had it maybe 3 weeks, and its not lost any air. It is played with almost daily. We got it on sale too, so that's a plus! It bounces well. Has brought the family closer, which we love!!
