No northern lights.

Greatly disappointed in this product. While grilling out, I tossed a pack onto the flames. Not only did it make our food taste horrible, but at no time during the evening did the Northern Lights make an appearance. We live in Lower Alabama and had our hearts set on seeing the dancing sky colors. We were heartbroken at the emergency room.

We love this product! The dancing colors in the flames are amazing!! The directions say to drop the unopened packet in the fire. However, we get better all over more long lasting color when the packet is opened and you sprinkle the crystals over the fire. It's very easy to use with great results!!
