Castrol oil is unbeatable
I've always run Castrol oil in my motors and I love that Castrol oils have zink still in them for these new camshafts that doesn't have zinc in them anymore and you have to go buy zinc to put in the oil to harden the camshaft. with Castrol oil you don't have to worry about that. I've never torn a motor down that had sludge in it that was ran with Castrol oil its whole lifetime.

I've used Castrol oil for decades. I have no reservations. In years past, I used Castrol 10-40w in Ford 15 passenger vans traveling 500 miles per day, 7 days per week. At 15,000 miles per month with paying passengers, I had to be sure I was doing the best I could. I would replace the vans at 2 year intervals with 360,000 miles on them. I never had a problem finding a buyer for these vans and many sold without any advertising.

I have been using Castrol GTX since 1976. I had been using another oil before then and after having to tear down an engine I could not believe the build up on the engine parts. The engine had less then 80,000 miles on it. Now I have had several vehicles that have gotten over 200,000 miles on them with no oil related problems. I will continue to use this oil.
