We usually buy Hormel Turkey Chili but saw this on here and thought we'd give it a try. There are chunks of ground turkey, more substantial ie less ground up than Hormel's. There is a bit of a zip on the back of my throat from chili flavoring, which is a plus or a minus for people's preferences. There are kidney beans which some people like and others do not. There are more carbs, sugar and fiber in this than Hormel but the overal "net carbs" is only 1g more. Overall this is a decent chili that is much more like a standard beef chili except for the greatly reduced fat in this.

Tastes even better than home made
I am the type of person who loves home made chili. I never imagined how amazing chili in a can be and STAGG proves this possibility. The turkey ranchero chili with beans tastes even better than home made. The combinations of spices and flavors of all ingredients are perfectly combined that you feel like you are eating chili made from scratch on a slow cooker! The turkey is cooked to perfection and doesn't taste like meatballs or fatty parts. It is soft meat kind of like pulled style type of white meat. Extremely tasty. This is a perfect buy for a person who needs a quick fast food hearty meal without going to an expensive restaurant. No nasty preservatives or MSG; no salty taste like a lot of canned foods have. It's just that good. I simply opened up the can, placed the chili in a pot, let it simmer and enjoyed in a cup. I will definitely have this as a staple in my home and recommending it to all my friends and family. I received this product for free as part of promotion.
