Dryer works fantastic. Way better than my 15 year old version of the same one. Drys clothes in half the time. Can handle large blankets and is quiet as a mouse, for a dryer that is. Would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Didn't think I'd appreciate it as much as I do
Reluctantly upgraded from am 18+ year old GE dryer that despite starting to show its age was still doing the job for our family day in and day out. We had recently upgraded the 18 year old companion GE washer due to some performance issues, and wanted to keep a matched set. I'm glad we did. While the 18 year old dryer did everything we needed, this GE Profile Dryer does all of that and a bit more. The steam functions are the main functionality added, but the smart functions of this dryer are nice to have, particularly being alerted on my phone when the cycle is 5 minutes from done, and then once it completes, avoiding clothes sitting in the dryer and wrinkling, etc. I like the fact that the washer and dryer talk and relay the load settings from the washer to dryer. This makes it more foolproof, allowing my 9 year old to do her own laundry without much assistance from her parents.
