This is not a toy for curious chewing dogs. Within two hours, my 9 month old pup had chewed the plastic grate out and eaten part of it. The plastic is too soft. She loved playing with it but, of course, I had to dispose of it and the other two because their fate would be the same. Had I not been nearby, she could have choked to death on it.
