Cutting nails or other objects embedded in the workpiece can cause carbide tips to crack or break. Do not use blade if teeth are broken or missing, or blade body is damaged. Only operate saw when a proper, functioning blade guard is in place. Mount blade securely in proper rotation direction, using correct mounting hardware. Not for use in masonry, concrete, fiber cement or ferrous metal.
