So they aren't pretty, but i didn't buy them to look at. We rescued two dalmatians when they were two years old. I do not know what feeding schedule they had, but we feed them three times a day without fail. They gobbled it down like they haven't eaten in weeks everytime. Now they have to work at it. They still eat too fast, but it is much better. These bowls work.

PERFECT solution to our fast-eater

THIS was absolutely the solution we needed. We timed our dog (with dish we already used) and he would eat it ALL in 30-60 SECONDS!! So we got this 'slowest-feed' bowl and I timed his eating from it. It now takes 6.5- 7 minutes! so it WORKED. I was skeptical.

Helps my dog eat (rather than inhale) his food

I bought this for a stray dog that "adopted me" back in the spring. Unfortunately, he still attacks his food like he hasn't eaten for a while even though he eats well every day. This bowl really slows him down so he can't inhale his food like a vacuum cleaner. I think it will definitely benefit his digestion process, and he'll be healthier in the long run.
