While these are a nice material and what I was looking for our use - organic/natural looking material for outdoor covered patio - they do not come filled which I did not see during my purchase but saw it listed afterwards when I looked. These are only pouf covers.. Not sure if it was added later as I usually do read descriptions (for size, cleaning instructions, etc) and I don't recall seeing this feature. I did try to buy pillows to stuff them with but no matter how many I put in it, it's not firm enough to hold feet up, they sink a third or halfway of the height down. In addition, the poufs also get lopsided as the pillows move around inside them. May try to stuff with loose filling. Been looking for a pillow the size of the pouf as well. I do like that they fit underneath the coffee table outside. Just wish they held their shape and I could make them stiffer. Docked them for value as I had to pay more to buy several pillow inserts to stuff them and may have to buy stuffing now. Should have researched better or bought stuffed poufs at the various furniture and outdoor centers in our area. Would have ended up ahead cost wise. Bought these mostly because I liked the color and texture for outside (covered) and thought they came stuffed.

if you want a footstool this is a bad choice. Too soft with stuffing or blankets and too hard if you use old news papers or magazines
