  • Low-Side N-Channel MOSFET Switch with Onboard LED: The IRF520 N-channel MOSFET switches the ground/negative side of your load. Drive SIG HIGH to turn the load on; drive it LOW to turn it off. A blue onboard LED illuminates when the MOSFET is conducting, providing instant visual confirmation. Screw terminal connectors on the load side secure wiring without soldering.
  • Critical Safety Notes — Read Before Use: Always add a flyback diode (such as a 1N4007) across inductive loads like motors, solenoids, and relays — back-EMF spikes without one will permanently destroy the MOSFET. For continuous loads above 1A, attach a heat sink to the IRF520 MOSFET (not included). For DC loads only — never use to switch AC mains voltage.
