I bought these knowing they weren't really 8ah batteries, performance wise. When you buy these aftermarket non-original batteries be aware of one thing. If it's listed at 8ah it's really going to give you 2 to 3ah performance, at best, in my estimation. If you buy this item with that in mind the battery is a great deal. I can't speak for longevity but they work and fit well overall. I highly recommend these batteries to operate your average Ryobi tool. I don't recommend them to operate a mower or anything else that has a high continuous amp draw. I would buy these again and highly recommend them with the above knowledge in mind. Longevity (how many years/months will they last) is the only question at this point...
