I purchased this to cut down a bunch of bamboo that was growing along my fence. It cut through it with no problem. It should be noted that this attachment DOES work on the PH1400 head despite what the description online states. I had the EGO AI confirm this in a chat. Someone needs to update the online description.

Saves Time and Effort

I used to have to cut sprouts of new trees, thorn bushes, and unwanted vines with a hand clipper or lopper. This took hours. The brush cutter reduced the time required into minutes with much less effort. My daughter also borrowed it to clear away the young trees and thorn bushes from an unmaintained area near her house. It works very well on young trees not above 1/2 inches or so and different types of thorn bushes and brambles. It is important to avoid rocks, solid wood stumps, and wire.
