The original ebony Flying V was the only one specifically made for him to be played left-handed.

Jimi first peformed with the original guitar on April 25, 1970, at the Los Angeles Forum, then again on May 8, 1970 at the University Of Oklahoma Field House & finally on August 30th 1970 at The Isle Of Wight Festival (it can be seen in the Film Blue Wild Angel: Jimi Hendrix Live At The Isle Of Wight.)
