I used to spend about 3 hours on Sundays crafting my own curry base. Kitchen meditation. Those days are gone. I've tried numerous ready-made jar sauces. Most ok, not great. Then I tried chef Maya Kaimal's tikka masala. Wow! Give one of her sauces a try. Really good. I add a healthy amount of garlic/chili sauce. Nice!

In the past, I actually used to buy a two-pack that included a different sauce I didn't even like that much, just because I wanted to get my hands on this Tikka Masala. It makes dinner incredibly simple to prepare; I just add it to my chicken while it's cooking and then serve the whole thing over rice. MILD tikka masala in a jar. No prep needed, just pour, stir and heat. I was just using for two, so I had leftover sauce which I put in a ziplock bag, dated and froze. My husband feels this has little taste. I think it’s perfect. We both can taste the heat. Many good ingredients. Note: does contain milk.
