I chose to use the stickers to apply. Mounted on back wall, followed instructions to a T. Only had small knives in slots. Plus. It rested on top edge of backsplash. It fell off that night and stuck to the countertop. It broke as I was trying to get it off the countertop. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

There are not enough slots to hold all of my knives. I knew that going in to the purchase, but it is still a downside to the product. It is also just barely too wide to fit up against the inside of my cupboard doors without hitting a seam. Although it technically fits inside the door, it hits a seam so it is not flush up against the door because of the seams that border around the door. The adhesive option did not work. With the weight of the knives it made one whole corner pop off because the adhesive was not strong enough and the knife safe was not flush up against the door. I do not want to drill holes in my cabinet, so I am returning it.
