Sweet second chance holiday tale

Steve Weston is a physical therapist, new in town, and also new to parenting. He has custody of his sweet newborn nephew, Aiden, since his sister passed away during childbirth. Chloe Richardson runs a restaurant in town with her brother, Brett. After putting her dreams on hold multiple times for multiple reasons, she's finally going to finish her teaching degree and live out her dreams for real. Steve needs a nanny for Aiden and, while the restaurant is closed for renovations, Chloe needs money to keep saving for moving to Boston right after Christmas. But Steve and Chloe shared a teenaged kiss years before at camp, and then he left, never contacting Chloe since. It affected her emotions considerably. It doesn't matter what reason he had to do it…does it? As Steve and Chloe work together to care for Aiden, they become closer. But can he trust her with the burden he bears, and the truth of why he never got in touch with her? Can they both trust the Lord and remember He is the one who “will make their paths straight “? You will love this sweet second-chance Christmas tale. It even has an epilogue (my favorite)! Settle down and give Meghann Whistler's The Baby's Christmas Blessing a try…you'll be glad you did! I received a complimentary copy of this book, but my opinion is entirely my own.

Blessings all around

This story had the two main characters, Steve and Chloe, with messy pasts that affected them both in their present lives. It always makes for a more realistic book when everything is not fairytale perfect. My heart went out to Steve. He had lots to deal with, raising his sister's newborn, taking care of his elderly great aunt, dealing with his past and financial worries. Chloe's issues were mostly dealing with her history of depression, getting over an ex boyfriend and earning enough money to supplement her six month stay in Boston for her teaching degree. The baby, Aiden, was an added bonus. He helped bring Steve and Chloe together although they both still had issues to work through. And who doesn't love a newborn baby? I throughly enjoyed my time spent in this book and recommend it for pleasurable reading for all. I received a complimentary ebook copy of this book from the publisher through BookSirens but was not required to write a review positive or otherwise.

Sweet

What a sweet story this was. A young man raising his newborn nephew and facing nearly impossible odds and old heartaches hires as a nanny a girl he once knew and cared for. That girl also has heartaches. But read on to see what God can do with our problems! Precious! My thanks to the author for a copy of this book.
