Better than a Swiffer.
I swapped my vacuum/swiffer for this product and it works very well. The corded vacuum is a lot more effective than the cordless, and so the swipes are only needed to get the finer dust, although they do also pick up hair etc. I didn't follow the directions and dried them in the dryer, this caused them to shrink slightly. My only complaint is that some larger chunks like wood chips or string do not come off in the wash. I guess this is part of the static function of the swipe, it definitely attracts dirt.

I bought the Dirt Devil Dust + Vac, corded. It is the best product I have used for my wood floors. We have two Labrador retrievers and it takes care of dust & dog hair easily. The pads are washable and I always have one on the vacuum. My floors always look great.
