Ignition Lock Housing - Compatible with 2000 - 2002 Audi A8 Quattro 2001

This is an OEM part at cost that is about 30% less than the dealership! It fit perfectly! The hardest part of the job is getting the old housing out since it is attached with tamper-proof bolts. Used a dremel to cut slots in the top of the bolt. Had to cut several slots since the bolt broke off several tips..the multiple slots helped relieve the tension.

First time using parts geek not sure what to expect. I will be back here thats for sure, with the service and quickness from ordering to delivery was pretty damn quick. My car was off the road for only 3 days ordered delivered installed easy as that. Only fault i had was the part did not come with the bolts to install, so i had to cut slots in the old allowing me to re-use them. Other than that the partts were what i needed ( i didnt know for sure what was wrong with the ignition but seemed obvious this was the problem and it was) everything working great, Thanks Parts Geek
