Saxophonist Trygve Seim and accordionist Frode Haltli, key figures in the new Norwegian music, have over the years played together in many contexts - including Seim's acclaimed large ensemble recording Sangam and the collaborative the Source and Different Cikadas. This is the first recording of their long-running duo, covering originals and improvisations plus Bob Marley's Redemption Song, a tribute to Tom Waits (Waits for Waltz), music of Gurdjieff, and Armenian traditional music.
