In this manual, I have attempted to give a useful overview of the most common and beneficial vitamins, minerals, and dietary supplements that the human body requires for a long and healthy life, and offered what insight I can from more than forty-six years as a physician as well. In each case, I've covered at least some background on the substance itself, its benefits and biological function, and included basic information on toxicity and dosage. Each of us will have to experiment a little to find what seems to fit for individual needs and desires.
