This is the replacement for the unit we purchased years ago. The motor quit working long after the manufacturer's warranty was over. Unfortunately, the Atwe took for repairs no longer works on this unit. We had a Polaris before. This unit climbs the walls. One winter some leaves fell to bottom of pool and stuck there. For years I tried cleaning those off. At the end of the first summer of using the original unit, over half of that spot was removed. Now there is only a small patch left. So when the original unit quit working, replacing it with the same was no question.

This robotic cleaner is just what I needed to get the job done. My neighbor has some messy trees which require a daily clean up in our pool. So far love the job this vacuum does. I have had a small issue with one of the bottom rubber pieces coming off when cleaning, but I have reached out to the company hoping to solve that small issue. Otherwise I feel for the price point this vacuum is worth it so far.
