Rugby, 8.3 oz, and Original PEG3350 for Constipation Polyethylene Glycol Unflavored Laxative Powder is used to treat occasional constipation. It is in a class of medications called osmotic laxatives and works by causing water to be retained with the stool. This increases the number of bowel movements and softens the stool so it is easier to pass. The powder is mixed with a liquid and taken by mouth.
It is usually taken once a day as needed for up to 2 weeks Grit free, sugar free and gluten free, this unflavored laxative powder dissolves in any beverage. Available without a prescription. For adults and children 17 years of age and older, use once per day for no more than 7 days.
