Dangerous zipper

The material was amazingly soft but the zipper is very sharp metal. The zipper also goes all the way up to the point of the hood, like you you could zip your whole face in, which is weird. The zipper is sharp even when it is closed; it snags against your skin if you touch it. It was very disappointing because I bought it a ls an angels tree gift for an elderly recipient.
