Meridian Furniture Grande Solid Wood and Velvet King Bed in Gray

This bed is plush and expensive looking. Our daughter has a similar bed from this brand and it's weathered use by a preteen and two cats for over a year and still looks brand new. Our bed arrived in a timely manner, considering COVID concerns. We assembled it easily. The crushed velvet is lovely. I plan on scotch guarding it soon. We have had it about three weeks. It feels solid; the center supports work well. We are using our box spring due to lack of another place to put it, so our mattress is HIGH. No box spring is needed. We have a tempurmedic and I think the slats are sufficient support, although we'll test that before giving away the box spring. It's a stunning bed. However, the gray is not gray or silver. It's a silvery blue, which is beautiful, but it limits your color scheme. Both pics of same bed. We purposely tried to choose a neutral. But... However, it's so beautiful that we're going to just adjust our bedroom to accommodate navy bedding. My only regret is that, and I bought the bed knowing this limitation from the website, it's short. I'd buy it again and again.
