Splenda Monk Fruit Sweetener, Granulated 1lb Plastic Pouch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am finally getting serious about taking back control of my health, and one of the biggest struggles for me has been my coffee. I can drink black coffee, but I really ENJOY sweetened, creamed coffee. I discovered monkfruit sweeteners around a year ago and thought they were a miracle cure to this problem. Splenda Monk Fruit is the best I've tried so far. That said, it's not a perfect replacement, as I don't think anything could replace sugar without its flaws. The granules in the Splenda Monkfruit are a bit larger than I like, which makes dissolving a bit more difficult--something that is especially hard with cold drinks. In baking, it's not perfect and does affect taste and texture, so make sure you experiment before using this for a recipe for an important event. It does, like other sugar alternatives, leave a bit of an aftertaste, but nothing major, just noticeable--it's like a cold sensation? Very difficult to describe. All in all, I am so glad I found this product. The flip-top container is perfect for spooning or pouring, and I truly think this sweetener is going to help keep my diet on track this time.
