I originally bought these as "decoys" to help the neighborhood birds find where I had moved the backyard bird feeder. Sure enough, within a couple of days of perching them at feeding holes on the feeder, even the most slow-witted finally figured out that their feeder was relocated. After they did their job as guideposts to lunch for the real birds, I was left with two nice-looking fake birds who were now out of work. Although they're apparently designed for indoor/outdoor, I didn't think they would fare well in our thunderstorms, so I brought them indoors before the next rain. On a whim, I clipped them to a couple of our indoor plants, where they add a delightfully whimsical accent, and they're light enough not to burden the branches. As Marie Kondo would say, they "spark joy" every time I walk past them. So well worth the price.
