The rug came well packaged with ends protected. The binding is uniform and bound with consistent stitching. See photograph 2. The backing deserves to be complemented with a non-slip pad. See photograph 3. The care and cleaning instructions on the label are to be taken seriously. See photograph 4. Fortunately, its polypropylene composition allows the use of approved and natural cleaners such as: * Mild, dye-free detergent or rug shampoo, * White vinegar, * Baking Soda, * Rubbing alcohol. The maker's advice also reinforces a seldom recalled - but completely advisable - practice of vacuuming BOTH sides of the carpet. This absolutely works on an unbacked rug.
