I have had several joints replaced and then repaired since they only last so long as I been very active in my life and one of my hips are starting to really hurt and the heat really helps. The only problem I have is my little pug also enjoys the heat from the pad and she likes to always be close to me so I really have to make sure she is not around it. The pad does get hot

Great pad for pregnancy and postpartum

This is a great little heating pad. I bought this in my final weeks of pregnancy to help with back pain and cramps. It's the perfect size and heats up quickly. I like my pads to be HOT and the high setting is even too hot for me for too long (I prefer it this way versus a pad that doesn't get hot enough!). Who knows how long this will last for but the price was reasonable for what I need it for and it's providing much needed soothing to my achey muscles and joints.

Best heating pad on the market BY FAR! This is my second one I have purchased, my first one still works great but I wanted a back up for traveling. I have bought other brands, however none compare to this one.
