Kreg Tool 24 in. Track Aluminium Circular Saw

I wish they would have made something like this 30 years ago. This Kreg saw guide includes a universal saw sled, an aluminum guide rail, a precision edge guide, and comes with detailed setup and usage instructions. The saw will follow the panels edge to give you the straightest cut. It will cut up to 24 inches in. There is no measuring or marking like in the old says which was a pain and took so much time to mark the plywood, and sometimes it would still not be straight. This Kreg unit solves that problem. No more guesswork! It also works with left or right blade saws. I saw an advertisement for a Kreg item on television and thought, (never heard of them) but after using this to cut 8 sheets of plywood that I have been wanting to put on my attic floor in no time tells me that the manufacturer put a lot of effort into this product, and if they put in the effort on this then I know they will put it on everything else they make. I highly recommend this unit.

The Accu-Cut is nothing short of awesome! I am a self proclaimed DIY-er, and will try anything that might make my work easier, less time consuming and look better. It goes out about 48 inches which was short for my pergola boards, but my supports I was using made me have to shift my board anyways so I just readjusted from the other end of the board and it lined up perfectly. I had never tried anything put out by Kreg, but this apparatus is life changing for someone like me. When I got it I was in the process of building a pergola and not being very good at math I spent a lot of time measuring again and again to make sure I was doing it right. I was drawing lines all over my boards and literally making a mess of them. The thing eliminated so much of that nonsense. You simply align the saw in the guide, clamp it to the track line op the track with your tiny marks (like you would with a ruler) and it guides your saw all way without moving or shifting. So easy! The guide eliminates the splintering on some woods also. Being a DIY-er I don't tend to buy the expensive stuff so that was a true bonus for me. I wasn't sure about the no clamping part, but it never budged when I was using it. Since then I have started a bookshelf and have the parts I need to make a desk. I am no longer dreading some parts of the process because this product takes away a lot of the hassle. I will definitely be investing in other Kreg products.
