If you have a lamp project such as a canning jar lamp that requires the plug end of an electric cord to pass through a small opening you cannot accomplish this with a standard lamp cord. However, the cord set offered here will overcome this problem. It is furnished with a loose end plug so that can add the plug after you have wired your project. The components of this set are high quality. The 8 foot white cord is SPT-1 #18-105 degree, attached to a metal lined socket that will take a candelabra base bulb up to 40W. The socket has a metal sping clip attached to it that makes it easy to just mount it into a 1" hole.
