I like everything about them, the width and depth, the height, the finishes, how sturdy they are. I've bought 4; 2) Chestnut Burl and 2) Plantation Cherry for 2 different bedrooms. I would love to see them in a Maple finish for what I call the Maple bedroom. You do not have to worry about them moving when you stand on them. They are heavy. I like the pieces on the bottom applied also. There were a few minor nicks in the wood that I fixed with a touch up finish pencil that I keep for all my wood furniture, so it was not a big deal to me. Notifications and shipping were excellent.
