Love My Terradoras

As someone with a medium-narrow foot, the Terradora was one of my entrees into the world of Keen. Its women's specific last and "Contour Fit" silhouette isn't for everyone -- those who rely on Keen for its wide, high-volume footwear will be disappointed, but it offers me a secure and nimble fit that works for my body. I prefer the ventilated version over its waterproof counterpart because, for me, the purpose of a knit upper is flexibility and breathability, both of which you lose with the waterproofing, which stiffens the shoe both inside and out (the outer treatment feels like shellac) and greatly increases the weight of the shoe. Terradoras are very much hiking sneakers -- they are very soft and the tread is pretty shallow, so I wouldn't take them out on any serious trails -- but, considering how light and flexible they are, they offer surprisingly good support for long days on my feet and 6+ hours on the salesfloor. If you love Keens because they are wide, you will not like the Terradora. But if you never thought you could wear Keens because they were TOO wide, then you will be delighted by the Terradora, particularly the ventilated version.

I like them

I read a lot of the reviews and decided to go a half size larger. I am glad that I did. They are a smidge long, but the larger size gives me a little extra width. I'm happy that I went with the extra half size. I wear them on my walks in the forest and at work. They are good for both. I would like a little more cushion while working on concrete, as compared to my old Abeos that wore out. Overall, I am glad that I purchased these shoes.

5 Stars, Highly Recommend!

This was my first purchase of anything KEEN and I will never look back! I purchased these shoes in preparation of a Southwest hiking trip. They were PERFECT for the hiking and climbing of steep fins. The tread allowed me to climb areas that I otherwise would not have been able to. They are very comfortable and stylish too. I love my KEENS!
