Good quality. You can write on it with no issues.

Nice desk pad. It is softer on the back, so it won't scratch the desk. Firmer on the top, so you can also write on it. It does not get squishy like those leather ones and does not smell like they do either. The only thing I do not like, is there are strange lines on the ends of it that do not come off. I haven't been able to find another decent on that you can write on, so I would buy this again for sure!
