High quality, but please bring back the similar shorts with deeper pleats

I've learned to stock up on Tommy Bahama products when I find something I really like. The 2015 version of the cargo shorts with elastic waist is comfortable enough, but I prefer, and usually wear, the earlier version from the back of my closet with deeper pleats and a little looser feel. Also, please be sure that the drawstring in the waist is long enough for those of us who wear XXL. One size drawstring does not fit all.

the shorts not as good, bring back the originals and better pocket fabric

It seems to me when I have a good pair of shorts the company wants to mess with it. Stay with something that is not broken. Go back to the original ones and put better material for the pockets. My change seems to eat up the material. Love Tommy BAhama, Larry

Where are the "real" cargo shorts?

I have worn the TB cargo shorts for years. If I can get to a TB store (closest is 5 hr. Away) i can always find them even if they're stuffed on back shelf. These cargos are adequate but don't measure up to what I've always worn from TB. I understand that fashion needs to be updated at times, but the cargo shorts of the past were a staple item.
