Irwin Carpntr Pencil Sharpener

I've had this sharpener for 7 months. When I first got the sharpener, I felt it did a fair job (not great, just fair) of sharpening my round carpenters pencils. A week ago I was ready to throw it in the trash because it no longer functions as a sharpener. The build quality is very poor. Instead of wasting money on this sharpener, do yourself a favor and buy a pack of utility knife blades. No excuse for producing and selling such a poor product. It appears that the blade geometry isn't correct and the pencil just rubs against the bottom side of the blade.

My sample (I did not think to check) has the middle screw missing, so it does not work at all. Wit another screw in place it still does not make proper point.
