A good idea ruined by cheap construction

It works, but I wouldn't say it's worth $15. It does as advertised, but it sounds like mouse squeaks being played through a blown speaker. I tried it on my trapline with no luck. It's likely to attract young, curious predators, but older, more wary predators will likely avoid it entirely as it doesn't quite sound right due to the static created by cheap electrical components. I also went to the manufacturer's website and watched their promotional video. The video was several minutes long and made to look like recordings of many successful catches. Except, it was clips from maybe 4 sets that were cut up and spaced out to look like many more sets. The video jumps back and forth between short trail cam video clips of different predators investigating sets. If you pay attention, you'll notice there are only 3 or 4 actual catches shown. The video does not actually show this device in any of the sets. There is just a note beneath the video on the page that claims this device is being used, but it isn't shown in the footage. I wish I had seen this before I ordered, as that is a red flag that screams scam. If it works so well, why aren't there videos showing it actually being used in sets? I think it is highly likely that it was not used in any of the sets shown in the promo. If it was being used, why wasn't it shown?
