If you can't afford anything better, these chess pieces get the job done, but they aren't impressive in any way. I like the color, and the fact they don't wobble, but about best I can say. Even the color finish shows drip marks from application of the finish. There's no detail to speak of and there's not much weight to them really but like I said, they don't fall over or wobble. They work. That's about it. But not overpriced for quality, in my opinion.
