This item is awesome, for first time users can be frustrating at first because of the many directions to set up the unite. Some products you can figured out without the manual, this is not one of those. But is good,you can do soup, proofing bread and bake it and make different type of rice. My advice is to buy the guaranteed, I do it with all my products, new doesn't mean it will work forever or that can't break.

excellent health keeper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] even mixed rice gets really well cooked. very comfortable to eat I always stick to white rice but owing to cuckoo IH rice cooker, now I do enjoy wholesome mixed rice. thank you cuckoo!

Expensive but amazing rice cooker

My parents told me to get this one after buying it and it has been a blessing. Cooks so many varieties of rice- and the way you want it. Also cooks porridges and beans and soup too. It talks to you and tells you when things are done. Only thing is I had to replace inner rubber tubing and the knob to open rice cooker seems a bit fragile. Otherwise a very good product and highly recommend.
