They're capable of generating sound

Well, I like the feel of the cable. They're comfortable when in my ears. Having said that, the sound quality is absolutely abysmal. The balance of the sound is off and the sound is not loud enough and also sounds grainy, which I've never had from any ear buds I've ever purchased. I've purchased ear buds from Dollar Tree and Walmart, in fact for a dollar that sounded better than these. I'll burn them in to see if the sound improves, but I'm doubtful. I'd return them, but it would just be too much trouble for the price. Very disappointed.
